About Chglog

Getting Started Updated Apr 2, 2026

Chglog is a minimalist uptime-monitoring platform built for developers and ops teams who value clarity over clutter. We believe monitoring should be simple, precise and out of your way until something actually needs your attention.

Our philosophy

  • Signal, not noise. Every alert means something. No dashboards full of green that desensitise you to warnings.
  • Multi-location verification. Checks run from geographically distributed agent nodes so a single network blip never causes a false alarm.
  • Pay for what you use. Our credit-based model means you never pay for idle capacity. Scale up instantly, scale down without waste.
  • Transparency first. Publish beautiful, real-time status pages for your customers — public or private.

What we monitor

Chglog supports five check types that cover the vast majority of infrastructure monitoring needs:

  1. HTTP checks — verify web endpoints respond with the expected status, headers and body content.
  2. DNS checks — watch A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS and SOA records for changes.
  3. Port checks — confirm TCP and TLS services are accepting connections.
  4. Pulse checks — dead-man's-switch heartbeats where your service pings us.
  5. Pulse+Data checks — heartbeats with JSON payloads validated by a customisable rule engine.

Who is Chglog for?

Whether you run a single SaaS product or manage hundreds of microservices across multiple teams, Chglog scales with you. Teams get their own workspace with separate billing, projects and notification channels — so everyone stays in their lane.
