Templates let you spin up a complete monitoring configuration for common infrastructure stacks in one click.

System templates

Chglog ships with built-in system templates for popular services: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, SSH, RDP, Mail Servers, and more. System templates are read-only but can be duplicated to your team for customisation.

Applying a template

  1. Go to Templates in the sidebar.
  2. Browse or search for the template you need.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Choose whether to create a new project or apply to an existing project.
  5. Fill in the template variables (e.g. hostname, IP address, port).
  6. Click Apply Template.

All checks defined in the template are created at once with the variable values substituted.

Duplicating a system template

To customise a system template, click Duplicate. A copy is created under your team. You can then edit groups, add checks, or change default values.
