Alert Preferences & Recipients

Chglog provides granular control over who gets notified, and for what.

Member preferences

Each team member can configure their own alert preferences:

• SSL expiration alerts — when an SSL certificate is nearing expiry.
• SSL renewal alerts — when a certificate is renewed.
• Domain expiration alerts — when a monitored domain is nearing expiry.
• Weekly reports — choose between reports for all checks, or only checks that triggered alerts.

Per-check recipients

For each check, you can assign specific recipients:

• Team members — individual people who should be alerted.
• Webhook channels — Slack, Teams, Discord, or Custom Webhook channels to notify.

This lets you route database alerts to your DBA team's Slack channel, while sending API alerts to the backend engineers.

How to configure

1. Go to Notifications in the sidebar.
2. Set your personal preferences at the top.
3. Switch to the Per-Check Recipients tab to assign recipients and channels per check.
